Glue Store Garden City

"This is a review for purchasing online, not the garden city store. Bad experience: I purchased shoes according to Glue store online size guide, when I received the shoes they did not fit and were not the same at the size guide on their website, which I have screenshots and photos of, which I pointed out to Glue store and they acknowledged was inconsistent. I then contacted them for a refund, which they said was fine as they shoes did not fit. I filled out their returns paperwork and sent the shoes back with Australia Post. I got an email a week later from Australia Post saying that Glue Store had received the shoes. I waited another week and nothing from Glue Store, so I emailed them asking for an update on the refund, no reply. I emailed two days later, no reply. I emailed again two days later, no reply. I waited 2 weeks from when Aust. Post said that they had been delivered and 3 unanswered emails and finally got PayPal involved for dispute resolution, they replied to my email only once I informed them I have had to open dispute with paypal. Very bad experience, will not be shopping with glue store again. Writing this as a warning to others."

"Had to return a product on a busy Saturday. Dan was inundated with multiple returns & having to help other staff. His customer service & multitasking skills were on show. Kept his cool & professionalism. Glue, you’ve got a great employee in Dan."

"The workers here are so nice, I had a lovely girl help me choose a jacket and when I had issues with using a gift card they were so patient. Overall great experience, made my day."

"Had the worst customer service today. I tried a shirt with the security tag attached to arm pit area. So the shirt was not looked good as I tried it on. approached the lady named Alice( she was the store manager and was serving customers at the counter) to take the security tag off so I can see if it fits better or not. She refused to do so in a rude way and tried b b to explain that she needs to leave that on until I purchase the shirt because of security reasons. Just made me feel uncomfortable and not being respected. I understand why security tags are applied, but it’s very common in retail that you do it for customers if they need to try the product without anything attached. I left the store annoyed."
