Welcome to The Drama Hub, located at Wellington Point, Birkdale Road, 347-371 in Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing school-aged children with a friendly, fun, and supportive environment for group drama.

At The Drama Hub, we believe that all children have the right to be imaginative and creative, without judgment or assessment. Our intimate and safe class space accommodates up to 14 students, allowing for more individualized attention and a relaxed atmosphere. We prioritize giving each student room to move and express themselves, rather than overcrowding our classes.

By participating in our drama classes, students will gain essential life skills that can be applied in various situations. These skills include public speaking, social development, team building, and building personal and professional confidence. Our classes also offer a supportive environment for students to overcome personal obstacles such as anxiety, shyness, and working with new groups of people.

Problem-solving is a key component of our classes, and students will have the opportunity to develop this skill through performances and class activities. We believe in providing practical experiences that allow students to apply their creativity and critical thinking abilities.

Our founder, Tamara, has a wealth of experience in both acting and teaching. After pursuing her own acting career, she became a volunteer drama teacher at Annandale Public School in NSW. Inspired by her teaching experiences, Tamara returned to study and graduated with a Bachelor of Performance, fulfilling her lifelong goal of teaching drama. She has since completed her Masters of Primary Teaching and relocated to Brisbane, where she established The Drama Hub to address the limited resources in the local area.

Tamara's extensive teaching and acting background has enabled her to create a syllabus that is fresh, fun, and exciting for children at all levels of experience. She is passionate about nurturing young talent and providing a supportive environment for children to explore their creativity.

We are also proud to have Brennan, a Year 11 student, as part of our team. Brennan has studied drama, acting, musical theatre, dance, and music for over five years. She is a valued member of the Cleveland High Drama Extension and Musical Theatre Group and also showcases her talents as a vocalist for a rock band. Brennan's love for character acting and working with children extends to hosting children's character parties on weekends. Her ability to connect with her students through shared interests and generational understanding makes her a valuable asset to The Drama Hub, especially in running our School Holiday Programs.
