About the Business
Welcome to Brisbane Girls Grammar School, located at 70 Gregory Terrace in Spring Hill, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are a prestigious secondary school offering a broad, liberal education for girls from Years 7 to 12. Our mission is to provide young women with the educational foundation to confidently contribute to their world with wisdom, imagination, and integrity.
Since our establishment in 1875, our educational philosophy has guided our approach to curriculum design and delivery. We believe in providing a broad-based, liberal education that equips our students with the foundations for future success. At Brisbane Girls Grammar School, we strive to ignite a joy for learning, encourage curiosity, and foster the development of confident, well-rounded young women.
Our all-inclusive fee policy covers not only the cost of tuition but also a range of curricular and co-curricular activities. We believe in the importance of a robust co-curricular program, which inspires our girls to strengthen their existing talents and explore new areas of passion. Through these activities, our students develop enduring life and leadership skills, resilience, and an adventurous spirit.
We take great pride in our tradition of nurturing accomplished and confident young women. Our dedicated staff understand the importance of assisting each girl in finding her place and provide the necessary support for their personal growth.
Leading our school is Ms Jacinda Euler, the Principal of Brisbane Girls Grammar School. Ms Euler is a strong advocate for the broad, liberal education we offer and possesses a deep and authentic understanding of girls' education.
At Brisbane Girls Grammar School, our approach to teaching and learning is underpinned by a commitment to discipline-specific, faculty-based learning. This ensures that our students have diverse and dynamic learning experiences that prepare them for the challenges of the future.
Our strong community is built on respectful and supportive relationships among staff, students, parents, and friends. We believe that these relationships form the foundation of our school and contribute to the success of our students.
In 2020, we launched the Illumine podcast series, which has since evolved to include three additional subseries—From the Students, For the Parents, and Grammar Women. Hosted by Principal Ms Jacinda Euler, this podcast shares enlightening conversations, friendly debates, and topical discussions with teachers, students, alumnae, and special guests. The Illumine podcast ensures that more voices are heard and perspectives shared within our community and beyond.

"I got cyberbullied here by people I thought were my friends, and the teachers and staff are rude and don't really care about you, they only care about school work and to keep their profile high. I moved to St Margarets just a term ago, and oh my lord it is amazing so much better than Grammar."
"Personally wouldn’t send my children here, my ex friend went here for 2 years (7 & 8) and started doing self harm due to some bulling. Only some teachers care and listen. Others can’t be bothered.. I think another great alternative to this school is Somerville house. I went here and it’s so amazing."
"As a graduate, I can honestly say that Brisbane Girls Grammar School is made good only by the teachers; the majority perform their duties well and pass down valuable insight to their students which I deeply treasure. I am gravely concerned about the appointed student care, the dean of students and the vice principal; their handling of bulling and harrassment was repulsive and destructive to students - at times it felt isolating to be at the school when these people would do nothing to help, even at times defending those who partook in disgusting behaviour. The damage this does to students emotional development and wellbeing should be looked into, as currently there is no assurance that those employed and trusted to care will do anything more than give a plastered condescending smile and cover up any problems - going so far as to lie to parents about the ongoings on school grounds. The extra curricular activities and campus are immaculate, but neither are a substitute for good student care, leaving no question as to why reunions dwindle in popularity. Nil Sine Labore"
"Just attended the open day. Wow, what a lovely school. Amazing facilities, the girls were so impressive, the school looked wonderful. A place for young minds and souls to grow."
"Fabulous experience over the last 5 years with my daughter at this school. My daughter loved it and so did I. The independence of the girls is something that enables them to take responsibility for themselves. Excellent in all ways, from academic to friendships and ethos. Absolutely 100% recommend as an outstanding school."
