Situated just north of Brisbane and in close proximity to Bribie Island and the Glass House Mountains, our location provides the perfect backdrop for your aviation journey.

At Strike Aviation Training, we specialize in initial flight training on RAAus aircraft, as well as advanced general aviation (GA) training on the Decathlon and Cessna 172. Our team of instructors are CASA licensed commercial pilots, offering their expertise on a part-time or full-time basis.

Safety, affordability, and fun are the core principles of our training program. Whether you are a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, our selection of aircraft and experienced instructors ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

Recreational aviation is all about safe and enjoyable flying, and we aim to provide just that. Your first flight with us will be an introduction to the world of flying, where you will have the opportunity to take the controls and learn about the flight controls. All our training aircraft have dual controls, allowing our instructors to assist you every step of the way. This trial introductory flight (TIF) will also count as time in your logbook if you decide to pursue further flying lessons.

Paul, our Grade 2 GA instructor, operates in conjunction with a CASA Certified Part 141 flying school. We offer a range of GA flight training options, from initial training for Recreational Pilot License (RPL), Private Pilot License (PPL), leading to Commercial Pilot License (CPL). We also provide assistance for those looking to convert their RAAus certificate to an RPL.

If you are interested in tailwheel training, we have you covered. Our instructors are passionate and experienced in this area, as our flying roots are based on tailwheel aircraft. We can even fly to your location if needed.

For those seeking a unique flying experience, we offer formation flying. This exciting and disciplined activity allows you to work within a team and improve your flying skills. The flights are local and shorter in duration, but the satisfaction and thrill they provide are unparalleled.

Safety is our top priority, which is why we offer training in recognizing and recovering from unusual and/or upset aircraft attitudes. This type of training not only enhances your flying skills but also prepares you for "what if" scenarios. Our competency-based training combines theoretical knowledge and practical flying to ensure you can prevent and recover from any unexpected situations.

If you have an RAAus certificate and are looking to obtain an RPL, or vice versa, we can assist you with the conversion process. We accept pilot licenses from Australia or overseas, as well as from other sport organizations such as the Hand Gliding Federation of Australia (HGFA), Australian Sport Rotorcraft Association (ASRA), and Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA).
