About the Business
Welcome to Prince of Peace Lutheran College Senior Campus, located in Everton Hills, Brisbane's north. As a prominent establishment and point of interest in the area, we are proud to be a leading secondary school, offering a comprehensive Prep to Year 12 private co-education.
At Prince of Peace Lutheran College, our core values are deeply rooted in Christian principles. We strive to create an environment that nurtures growth, encourages development, supports effort, recognizes achievements, broadens horizons, challenges viewpoints, and guides progress. Our commitment to these values sets the foundation for a well-rounded and inclusive education.
One shining example of our students' achievements is Addison, a Year 6 student who has displayed an immense passion for dance. Her dedication and talent have led her to achieve remarkable success in recent competitions. In the 12 Years and Under Category on the Sunshine Coast, Addison was awarded 1st place in Classical Ballet, 1st place in Lyrical, and 2nd place in Contemporary. We take great pride in fostering such talent and providing opportunities for our students to excel in their chosen fields.
Leading the way in curriculum and pastoral care is Simon, our esteemed Head of College. With a wealth of experience, Simon joined Prince of Peace in 2020 from Good News Lutheran College in Melbourne, where he served as Principal for 8 years. During his tenure, he oversaw the growth of the college from a Primary School to a thriving P-12 institution, introducing various international programs along the way. Simon's dedication to education and his role as a father of three primary school-aged children make him a valuable asset to our community.

"The area is FOUL. The kids there break into lockers and steal stuff to sell them. The LOTE teacher left and so the teachers let us do free time in LOTE! The teachers also don’t care about the students, and trust me, out of the 9 schools I’ve been to before, this school is 10 times worse than all of them. The high atar results seem to look like a lie because the students here can’t study well, and they keep opening their laptops while teachers are teaching and teachers don’t even bother to tell them to stop. I would rate this -100 stars if I could. The kids there seem nice at first glance, but their attitudes and violence is just unbearable. Please, please, PLEASE don’t send your kids here. Send them to a better school."
"This school is horrible. If you are thinking about sending your kids there DONT they will go through a living hell. The teachers are incredibly rude and half the time don't know what thay are talking about. The maths program is horrible, it doesn't teach you anything. I left the school and went to another and I didn't know anything about what we were supposed to have lurnt last year. The teachers verbally abuse the kids and you can't tell anyone about it because no one believes you. If I could give it 0 stars I would."
"My daughter started in grade 7 this year and has had her best schooling year to date. She's happy, has lots of lovely friends, shares pleasant stories about her teachers and school activities. It appears to be a positive and supportive environment and we hope it continues in the years to come."
"This classic Sultana Cake recipe was recorded by Nana Ling back in 1940. It includes an extra step that most recipes skip – and I reckon this makes Nana Ling’s Sultana Cake better than the rest! This sweet, simple cake is perfect for afternoon tea or lunch boxes and freezes well. This recipe mostly calls for pantry staples. You’ll need: Ingredients 2 cups plain flour (all-purpose flour) 1 cup caster sugar (or white/granulated sugar) 225 grams butter 1/4 teaspoon lemon essence 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 teaspoon baking powder 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups sultanas pinch salt Yes, that’s the secret to Sultana Cake with the most deliciously moist and plump sultanas. Boiling them first. Next, pre-heat oven to moderate (170 degrees celsius, fan-forced). Grease a loaf tin (approx 24 x 14 x 7cm) and line with baking paper. Now, pull out the stand mixer and beat butter, sugar, essences and salt to a cream. Add beaten eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift the flour and baking powder together and gradually fold into mixture or mix on lowest speed of your stand mixer. Add your lovely plump sultanas to the mixture and stir through gently until evenly distributed through the mixture. Note that while some recipes require you to coat the sultanas in flour before adding to this mix (to prevent them sinking), this recipe does not. In fact, Nana Ling makes a note that the sultanas “must not be dredged with flour.” And she’s right – the sultanas did not sink so there’s no need to coat in flour. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and bake for 1 – 1 1/4 hours or until cooked. You’ll know it’s cooked when it’s a light golden colour. You should also listen to the cake as you take it from the oven. If you can still hear it sizzling then it’s still cooking. Pop it back in the oven for another few minutes. Leave your cake cool for 10 minutes in the tin before turning out onto a cooling rack to cool completely."
"I attended prince of peace for 5 years (grade 5 - grade 10) so I’ve had a taste of both worlds in this “school” The primary school is fine but the teachers definitely have their favourite students and classes like languages and art are just hobbled together messes. And for the high school…. Jesus Christ…. The uniform comes before anything else especially student well being, they try to keep all cases of bullying secrets, theres a few teachers that get away with inappropriate things on a daily basis, most of the front office staff are rude, they waste money on useless things and most of the funding goes to the primary campus, any teacher that has a progressive idea that costs the slightest amount of money disappears within the next term, no sporting teams or programs what so ever even though they have 3 basketball courts and MOST DEFINITELY don’t attend this school if you are even interested in any other future career that isn’t a scientist or a mathematician. If you say you want to do a trade they assume architect (like seriously). And then laugh in your face. All in all the school fails at helping students and their families with anything if they aren’t a straight A student who wants to be a scientist. Would not recommend"
