"My child, who had no issues at their previous school, came home from IESS the first day with a black eye. They are 6 years old. They have been going to IESS for less than a month, and they have nearly been stabbed by another student and come home with chunks of their hair missing. The principal does not return phone calls or emails and the staff are flippant about student safety. You can regularly see students as young as prep wandering the grounds during class time."
"Great facilities, there's lots of lunchtime clubs the kids can get involved with and their homework system is great. There's a free playgroup for younger kids twice a week and the school has both a pool and a private swim school operating out of it on Thursday afternoons. Unfortunately there's bullying and violence happening amongst students which isn't being reported to parents of the victims. The Principal seems more interested in photo opportunities than actually engaging with parents and it seems the only way to get her attention is to make a fool of yourself in the office. A strong anti bullying policy and a different principal would turn this school around"
"Great school with many great teachers supporting our young"
"Small, but good school. My son goes here and has only had a couple of issues in the 4 years he's been there. I've had no problems getting in to see the Principal, whenever an issue arises that warrants a visit to her. Staff are mostly good. There's been a couple of issues, regarding bullying, that I have NOT liked how the school has dealt with it, but besides that, my son seems to enjoy the school and has had great teachers with great communication each year."
