"I had a lovely experience with the ladies on staff tonight (1/12/22 at around 8pm) and wanted to make sure that gets passed on! I'm annoyed I didn't get their names but I could see they were tired and run-down with a lot of things going wrong or being against them. But all 3 staff at the desk were so friendly and conversational! They were happy to call up other stores to set aside things for people and I just think if more customers smiled at them and appreciated them they would be kinder in return."

"Bought a pair of shoes that were marked $120 on the shelf. Knew exactly what I was after, so I took the shoes straight to the counter without trying it on. Sales assistant said the shoes were $130 and I asked why, as the ones on display were $120. The sales assistant said, “the price on the box says $130”. Didn’t even go to check the price on display. Just repeated, “the price is on the box”. Went to ask the other sales assistant why the one on display was marked $120, reply was “we’ve recently marked up our prices, it’s $130, you’re probably looking at the kids sizes”. I Checked all the other shoes of the same style/colour in adult sizes and there were marked the “incorrect prize”. Would’ve happily paid the extra $10 however staff were just rude and blunt, didn’t take the effort to check all the shoes on display or apologise that the prices on display were incorrect. Terrible customer service."

"I had accidently purchased my husband the wrong size shoes and we took them in for a return to swap out for correct ones. Unfortunately, they didn't have the size needed in the exact style however the staff were so incredibly helpful! They bought out other similar options & colours in their stock until we found the pair he wanted. After we decided, the swap over of stock at the register was done quickly and the staff were all wonderful!"

"This rating is based on my first time experience visiting CB Garden City on 04/12/21- for the lack of customer service by 2 out of the 3 workers behind the register that early afternoon. I guess I wasn’t the only one bothered by their service as while I was waiting in line I saw one customer being served & she didn’t like how she was spoken to so she put her items back & left the store and another customer obviously saw what I saw, didn’t like it so she left the line up, put her item back then left the store also. Although this happened I must say when I walked in I was greeted by this lovely young lady who was very friendly & welcoming, it was just the 2 girls behind the counter that I feel need to be aware of their tone and body language when talking & interacting with customers."
