"A lady with dyed blue hair served me. She was so friendly and helpful and made us the tastiest burritos we’ve had in a long time. Thank you!"
"Onions were bitter and spolit the taste of our meals. Server could not be bothered topping up the cheese supply so we got a miniscule amount. Kudos to North Lakes and Virginia outlets whose service and meals put Morayfield Zambreros to shame. When we tried to call to give feedback, nobody picks up and their voicemail box was full. Recommend going to Taco Bell across the road if you want Mexican."
"Ordered on Uber Eats and I absolutely love Zambrero. I won’t go past it over any other fast food. But this is the second time I have ordered from this particular store and they have got it completely wrong twice. First time was completely different to what I ordered. This time though was just a complete laughable burrito. The amount of onion in this burrito was beyond a joke and was all I could taste. It was suppose to have IQ salsa and didn’t have that at all, literally just corn and onion. The first 3-4 bites had no meat at all. So I opened it up and the rest of the burrito had barely any. I didn’t end up eating the rest of this burrito on how bad it tasted due to the overpowering taste of raw red onion. I thought I would do the right thing and call the shop where I tried 3 times where it rang through all 3 times and didn’t have enough storage apparently to leave a message. Last time I will be ordering from this store, to be honest it has kind of put me off ordering Zambrero all together now."
"I wanted to try zambrero as I was told it was similar to chipotle. That being said, the only similarity is that you can watch the crew put the meal together. Than the similarities end. To start it off, they only offer white rice and black rice, no brown rice at all which is a massive let down. After choosing which rice, I was than deciding on the protein I wanted. And no matter which one you choose, beef, chicken or lamb, they all look like a paste blend, which is very off-putting. The meats were also very bland flavor-wise which was unfortunate, i expected more considering they didnt look like just meat. We move onto the veggie portion, which in all honesty was probably the best part for the veggies that were available. The lettuce seemed fresh, i was able to get corn without other veggies involved. There is not much of a variety however with the veggies, or anything to be honest. So happy days with the the sauce portion. Tried the verde sauce which was quite good. All in all, a 3 star mainly due to the meats and no brown rice option. My partner also got a nachos as her meal, but she legitimately got about 10 chips total which was honestly hilarious. There was no queso at all, which should be a staple for a mexican restaurant and the corn chips were stale.Anyway, we went to guzman y gomez right after and I am sad to say I was terribly dissappointed with my Zambrero visit. Maybe will try again in a few years, but the meat method seems to need a change in my personal opinion."
