"Nice spot for a feed with some very friendly staff. Food is fairly pricey unless you take advantage of the specials. Portions can be on the smaller side, but the place has a great vibe and atmosphere. Regret not getting the chicken parmigiana, but the fisherman's basket was still quite nice."

"Hygiene of one of the cooks really needs to be addressed. One of the times we went here, he got on the floor to look behind one of the vats (hands on the dirty floor and under the machine) and then didn’t wash his hands before handling food and plating it. Watching him do this then placing food on the plate with his unwashed hands being served to me - basically didn’t eat it and told them. Yep he wasn’t happy which is really galling since any food handling course would have taught what is acceptable and what isn’t - and people can get sick from those kind of unhygienic practices. Really disappointed, of course he was on again this time and our meals took longer than we could wait. Not sure if this was purposely done because I wouldn’t eat his food the first time with his dirty hands. Had eaten here after this with friends and tried to ignore who was cooking and can only hope it was one of the other cooks those times. Didn’t put a review up then, hoping to give him the benefit of the doubt but didn’t appreciate the laughing and looking over while we were waiting longer than others who ordered after us. Immature and petty, tick. Couldn’t wait any longer and had to leave, after asking for takeaway containers we eventually got takeaway containers that weren’t new but ‘washed’ (wet). Yeah again don’t trust the hygiene after my experience with the non apologetic cook with the dirty hands. Binned my meal for the second time after we left (just couldn’t trust it :-(), frozen pizza it is and a waste of money. My husband still has faith in the food, me - not with that guy. Really disappointed because everything else here is great. Everyone else is lovely."

"The first thing we noticed as we walked in for the first time was the interior. The colour schemes, flooring materials, furniture, artwork, and accessories transforms the area into an aesthetically appealing space of interior decor. Second thing was the array of natural light streaming through the room which gave it that outdoor feel. Brilliant. As first time visitors approached by friendly staff on a Sunday afternoon we were warmly impressed. The barman knew exactly how to pour beers to. No mess from over spill, great stuff. Food options were a bit limited and maybe a little over priced but we understand overheads. Feedback provided from the Burger meals was positive and the kids loved the calamari and cheesy garlic breads. My vegetarian gnocchi was okay. A little flavourless which made me wonder if the chefs actually taste their food. Other than that. We’d visit again."

"Narangba Valley Tavern is really nice and so is the staff plus helpful. We went as a group and we all felt the food was very expensive. My steak was $42 if I wanted mash and veggies it was a extra $15 which would have brough it to $57 so I took the salad and French fried chips which was a let down and not filling enough. Most other place give a choice for same price. My husband had schnitzel it was $35 he never pays more than $25. It's a shame because this group catch up every second month and the Tavern was nice but we all wouldn't pay the prices again but would duck in for a quick drink."

"The team always goes above and beyond. They are so friendly and helpful, from reception, through the kitchen, bar and restaurant floor staff, i cannot fault a thing. We just love going there, never have we ever had a bad experience. Very reasonably priced and the weekday specials are great if you're stuck for menu ideas."
