"I made good friends but didn't learn much, Kim Simmons was the best teacher ever though, she taught me a lot, definitely my favourite teacher there."
"This schools teachers will not support kids who struggle they put them in boxes and think they will never amount to more than that. One of my teachers was uncaring and took pleasure in making kids feel vulnerable."
"As a former student from a year ago, this school is good. Great books at the library, nice teachers, great play area and nice community. The only problem I have have about the school is the lack of homework and the amount of things you can get away with. Me and my friends would casually download Youtube videos and watch movies on the schools laptops."
"While this was a great (ok, It was ok.) School, there are somethings about it that kind of annoyed me when I was there (I am in high school now). Like when the teachers wouldn't listen to what I had to say, or in grade one when my teacher DIDN'T TEACH ME (that much) SPELLING. I still like her though, even though not being able to spell well held me back for YEARS (She didn't teach me that much handwriting either, but that doesn't matter). Also, some of the people where SO ANNOYING. They've graduated now but they would just TALK LOUDLY through the ENTIRE CLASS and the teachers DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. Some of the people where great though, shout out to my grade 3 teacher, Patrick, and my grade 4 teacher, Kim Satchel (if I spelt that wrong I'm sorry). They were FANTASTIC. I learnt so much and I still have the stuff they gave me. Both the memories and the actual paper things. I still laugh when I remember parts of their classes. Y'all were amazing, and if you're reading this, thank you for teaching me. SOME PARTS of primary school on the other hand, weren't so great. Like when they split up the tables for graduation. WHY. I would like to sit with my friends on my last hours there thank you very much. Or how I didn't even know what integers WERE until I stepped through the high school maths classes door! (It's ok, I learn fast so I didn't flunk the test.) OR how we NEVER got enough writing time, though that may have just been me. Or how we did TWO TERMS on FRACTIONS. I KNOW HOW TO DO FRACTIONS AND IT WAS THE SAME LESSONS AS LAST YEAR JUST GIVE THE OTHERS SOMETHING NEW FFS. I'll always remember what happened in all my years. It was... interesting. Would I be a better speller if someone had taught me more? Maybe. Would I be less obsessed with the song Riptide if someone hadn't sung me it on their guitar? Probably. But I know this for a fact; without MPW, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Thank you MPW. Really. Mostly thank you to Patrick and Kim satchel. Also, I got into the S.E.A.L. (accelerated learning program), so you must have done SOMETHING right. P.S. mothers day stall is back, so don't worry about it."
"Because they would give my daughter a fit bit and a garmin"
