"Our son has attended Moonee Ponds Kinder Haven since he was 4 months old, and it has been 6 months since he started. He goes here 5 days a week. We are incredibly happy with the centre. The staff here is incredibly caring, friendly, and attentive. Everyone from the manager, the chef, educators in my children's room and in other rooms always go above and beyond. I can confidently say they care deeply about the children in their care. When he has stayed home due to illness the staff would call us up to check on him. Educators keep us up to date on whatever issues he may be dealing with, how he is developing. And we get pictures of what he is up to almost every day through the app. My wife and I feel great peace of mind knowing how well our child is taken care of. The centre has everything for him to develop, explore and play safely. And the staff is always organising fun activities for the children, like bringing in chicks so they can learn about them."

"Update 2023 March. I can see that my review has reached many people which is great. Just a little update. - the centre had to shut down most of the room as they had a major mould problem. The children were grouped into other age groups which I found disruptive because it wasn’t temporary… my daughter who was in kindergarten had 3 year olds in class for most of the year. Teachers were exhausted as they were crammed up into rooms sharing the space. Issue here is that the the number of students did not decrease - given the closure of half the centre it makes me wonder why/how they had so many kids in the rooms. My son who is almost two has moved to a new centre. I was not happy at the fact that he had a tiny concrete area to play on and i often found that he was still being put into the nursery room due to staff/room shortages. My son left the centre a month ago . At this stage, rooms closed with mould, educators quitting and crammed rooms. The educators who were always caring towards our family- they went above and beyond. However there were 3 instances where I had to contact the department of education for safety concerns that impacted my children directly due to the negligence it the centre. I say centre as I believe the incidents could have been prevented if they had the correct amount of staff and coverage in the rooms. As at March 2023 I can wholeheartedly say that Kinder haven has a lot of work to do. They are overpriced, understaffed and the educators are unhappy. I continued to send my children there as I have a good relationship with the educators that were responsible for them- but as a whole the centre is dysfunctional which led me to make the hard decision to keep my son home 2 days a week until there’s availability at the centre we are on a wait list for. Please ask about the closed rooms before committing to the enrolment. Do not enrol if its closed still… it just means its full of mould and your child will be in another room with children not their age group. ********** Hidden gem in the centre of Moonee Ponds! I have nothing but great things to say about Kinder Haven in Moonee Ponds. My 4 year old daughter S is in the 3-4 year and she will be moving onto the Kindergarten program in the new year. She surprises us with fun things that she has learnt by proudly saying ‘Otto taught us’! We have also seen such an improvement in her confidence. Saida, is the heart of 3-4 room and such a great educator. My 8 month old Son M is in the nursery and is cared by Gabriela, Jasmine and Evrim. I cannot speak highly enough of the care he is receiving. I am updated throughout the day with gorgeous photos and live info on his sleep/routine. The quality of communication has been the biggest contribution to him successfully settling into the centre. Centre manager Lisa, absolute gem. Professional, proactive and a very good leader. She has made our family feel so welcome from day one. You can find her managing a pandemic, carrying out building inspections post earthquake and recently sweeping unexpected flood waters- shoes off. Lisa and her team are a real team and we look forward to the new year. Oh and I have to comment that the centre cook has been cooking at the centre since it opened I believe! This says heaps about the centre."

"Kinder Haven Moonee Ponds is an outstanding daycare that is like an extension of our family. The educators work with closely with parents to make the children feel as comfortable as possible and go through great lengths to accommodate dietary requirements. "The Staff and Management at Kinder Haven Moonee Ponds are amazing. Our daughter had been part of the family since she was 8 months old, the baby room all the way to 4yr old kinder, building new friendship with other children and educators alike, until she start school this year 2018. After her first week of school i was asked if we could go back after school, as i miss my teacher.
