"Been here many times over the years in the busy and quite periods, and never had any problems. I’ve used this place to introduce friends to sushi and ramen. Very nice and tasty."
"Confusing place. I’ve never seen a sushi place with more cooked fried stuff. Canned tuna fish in rice, seemed to move around the sushi train more often than anything. Fried chicken sushi? Bizarre. I grabbed one thing then ordered a salmon avocado roll and nigiri salmon and tuna. That worked out but nothing over the moon. I wanted to try some creative raw rolls but didn’t see anything worth it. "Pretty good place to have sushi & Japanese dishes. Most dishes were excellent & great value. The whole family enjoyed the dinner."
"I attended Hane Sushi Eatons Hill a few days ago. I was extremely dissapointed with both the customer service and the food in general. My kaarage chicken and teryiaki don were extremely dry and flavourless; the staff in the middle who prepared it was also extremely arrogant (saying remarks under his voice as he was preparing the food). Not only was the food poor but so time consuming. I was one of the only people in the restaurant and each item took upwards of 20 minutes to prepare. The short boy - presumably in his early teens - who had a cross tattoo under his ear was extremely unpleasant and made my experience very poor. Though, this was compensated by a lovely tall girl with blonde hair who apologised for his behaviour and refunded me for some of the poorly made food. Not impressed."
"Probably won’t be coming back. Beef aburi was okay and that was about it. Everything else was incredibly oily and had a burnt taste. The chicken karaage was inedible, so dry, hard and stringy. Tasted as if it had been fried forgotten about then fried again. Was not a good experience, disappointed to say the least. The young lady who came for the bill was lovely! and refunded the prawn toast and karaage"
