Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central, an IHG Hotel

"Overall room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Location perfect. Central close to good restaurantes. Breakfast was standard and no complaints! What was a big disappointment was being put on hold for at least ten minutes or more while driving to hotel to arrive at the lobby and to find three of the receptionists busy talking! When the only busy person behind the counter was giving us our instructions on how to get to the parking we had to ask the others at reception to be quiet so we could hear what he was saying! Not good service! Not a good welcome!"

"Reasonably priced and had breakfast included (which contributed to the reason that I booked here). Opted for the slightly larger room and I am glad we did. Room was clean. Check in staff and breakfast staff were cheerful. It is quite a busy hotel and has a vibrant buzz to it. The breakfast offering was simple but nice. Hot items were scrambled eggs, pork chipolte, and baked beans. Not complaining for a complimentary breakfast. Another nice touch was the labelling of the pillows. Would be happy to stay again."

"I'm traveling alone So this hotel was ideal for me, but seems they don't clean your room if you stay for more than on night Maybe a 10 minute walk from Brisbane Central Station, with luggage. However it is an uphill walk Fabulous room design and vibe Smart uses of spaces in the room A Glassed walled bathroom which is lovely Comfortable bed and a great little lounge to sit on , most hotels in this category don't have a lounge. Great value, extremely clean and love how they use colors Both in room and public areas Review update My room not cleaned all day Called reception at 3pm on return Sat in lobby area for 40 minutes while room supposed to be cleaned Returned. Not cleaned, just towels and toilet paper put on bed No coffee, no bin liners and no tissues. When I went to reception to show photos and complain I was told by what I assume to be the duty manager, with big nose ring " to show more respect..." Gobsmacked, I've worked in customer service for 45 years Went for walked, returned at 17:30, cleaned it myself"

"Location of the hotel is very good and it's very near to Central railway station and even restaurants in walkable distance. Rooms are pretty decent and ample space for one person. Room Service is good, but only thing they don't give anything other Liquid soaps and Towels, usually these hotels provide Dental Kit, shaving kits, etc., Self service laundry is also good but only thing its not available in all the floors."
