"For a private "room," it is a step up from 10 berth bunks of similar price. I had to stay one night and needed to be at the airport early the next day. The capsule is cosy and spacious enough for my 6'2" frame. Bunk was supplied with a doona and pillow with a towel. I was on the 5th floor, and the toilet was out of service when I stayed. Not too much of an issue as i just went down stairs. For a room for the budget conscious, you can not go wrong. Noise from the street was noticeable early in the piece, but once asleep, I didn't notice it. I would visit and stay again if I am just looking for a bed for one or 2 nights. The photo attached was with the doona thrown in, so it looked messy, but that was from me."
"The capsule was fine, the service at reception was fine, the location was excellent, but my issue was absolutely with the bathrooms. One of the showers on Level 4 had no tap handle so I had to use the next one over after fully undressing and recollecting my stuff. The entire bathroom reeked of old urine, the tiles were mouldy and falling apart, and the drain appeared to be blocked meaning my feet were submerged in goodness-knows what germs. I’d love to return because the price and location was great, but the bathrooms need a huge improvement."
"Conclusion: Don't expect you will get a 5-star experience on this budget capsule. Main advantages: - The location is fantastic. In the heart of Sydney CBD, precisely in the town hall area - Cheap. That's it - Friendly receptionist. Don't be afraid to complain or ask something to them. - a spacious communal area - Spacious bathroom - 24 hours access - Safety locker - Clean towel - Microwave available Drawbacks: - The window frame on the bathroom should be considered to be renovated - The pods made a lot of noise when I climbed. I'm afraid someone below my pod will be disturbed - Those who booked from agencies such as Agoda won't get toiletries. The bed is fine for me. I'm not a luxurious type of person who needs a fluffy bed."
"The main draw of the capsule hotel for me was the low price point, paying essentially hostel prices to still have your own private space. The kitchen and bathroom facilities weren't brilliant, and the capsules made a lot of noise when getting in and out, but if you're looking for a place to stay for a low cost then I would definitely recommend the capsule hotel. If you're on the larger side, the extra money for a deluxe capsule is definitely worth it, as you get an extra 60 centimetres of width, adding a lot of space to stretch out. Note that only one guest is allowed in a capsule."
"I wouldn’t recommend staying at this place for more than 1 night - the beds feel like you’re lying on the ground, they are super thin. I stayed 3 nights and my back hurts…It looks way better in the photos. It’s above a nightclub or bar so on the weekends music is pumping until 3am - I was top floor and could feel the vibration from the bass. Book a cheap hotel outside the city if you’re visiting Sydney for more than 1 night, the public transport is great so you don’t actually need to be super central."
