Reviews
"I was a bit worried about the recent reviews.. but I had Eggs Benedict here this morning with extra bacon, it was tasty and a reasonable portion. Coffee was also very good. Would definitely come back"
"Rude and abrupt staff, no greeting or friendly service. I wish I came on here and looked at the reviews in the past couple of months before making the last minute decision to treat my family to a well deserved brunch. I ordered the chicken and mushroom crepes, the filling was inedible, hard processed chicken with soggy mushrooms could not stomach it, the actual crepe was mooshy nothing like I’ve ever had before absolutely horrendous. Thought I would have some of the side salad to some what fill up but no, wilted mixed lettuce with vinegar, so sad. Husband had the big breaky, nothing was cooked properly below average for almost $30 Ordered my daughter the kids fish and chips, the fish stank and chips were cold I couldn’t let her eat it. Also maybe wash your table water bottles! Far out it’s really not that hard. For almost $60 this was super disappointing to say the least, we will not be returning and I really hope the owner or who ever responds to these reviews has a good hard look into their business and what they are serving to their customers, how their running their business and who is working for them. If not I can guarantee this place will close down in no time. Looking forward to your generic response!"
"Sounded wonderful, wasn’t. Undercooked stodgy corn fritters. Greying avocado purée, no seasoning, no flavour. Couldn’t see a chef, so if wait staff were preparing then probably that’s the reason. Would not return. Shame Point book used to have a great cafe culture sadly it’s missed."
"I went to this place because I've been to other Jamaican blue cafes and enjoyed their food. However, I found this place is below average. I ordered a smashed avo and a flat white. The coffee was good but food was well below average. It was slightly brownish avacado spread on a white bread, an egg, 2 small pieseof hlomi and a small peice of fetta with some nuts. I was very disappointed when I received it as smashed avo at other places are really good."
"Being vegetarian haven't tried anything else apart from vegan/veg meal here which pretty good. Not many options for veg/vegans. Nice atmosphere for friend catchup or taking lunch break from work. Friendly staff under new owners now. Now that Point Cook town center is getting busier place could do with a cosmetic revamp."
