Reviews
"Big, clean, airy, organised, friendly team on the day I was there. Picked up a few things. It feels redundant to keep saying "Salvos is over-pricing clothing". Pretty much everyone is saying it. Still, op shops are fabulous and (pricing aside) this is a pretty good one."
"While I realise the purpose of the op shop is to raise money to support people in need, I found the prices are really exorbitant in many instances. I go to various 2nd hand stores to purchase in the hope of find a bargain because I can't afford to buy new items ie shoes, clothing. I'm aware too that vouchers are available if you apply through official channels, but I'm happy to pay and don't expect something for nothing. It would be a great help and a tremendous community service if people with a pension card were given a discount (say, 25%) at the cash register."
"Couldn’t believe the prices. Considering they get this stuff for free. I picked up a coat that was from Doti which isn’t an expensive shop and it had a tag on it for $45. Sometimes I think it’s cheaper to buy brand new from the shops."
"Friendly staff and a nice little Op shop, but the music is far too loud! It almost feels like a party inside. In my view, simple adjustment to radio sound would attract more customers."
"Fabulous little op shop. This is the one attached to the church, not the big one across the road. I just love this store. Their prices are old school and they always have something I want. It's only small but they have a great variety. There's always a 50c or $1 rack out the front. They also regularly have a "take it for free" table. The volunteers are always friendly and helpful. I think that there is a little cafe there too. Give it a go I'm sure you will be glad you did."
