Welcome to Mill Park Drive Maternal & Child Health Centre, located in the beautiful city of Mill Park, Australia. Our establishment is dedicated to providing exceptional health services to families with children from newborns to school-age.

At our centre, you can expect to receive free and confidential care from our highly qualified staff. Our team consists of Registered Nurses who have additional qualifications in Midwifery and Maternal and Child Health, ensuring that you and your family receive the best possible care.

The primary goal of our Maternal and Child Health Service (MCH) is to improve the health, wellbeing, and safety of families, as well as the learning and development of children. We understand that every family is unique, which is why we offer ongoing support tailored to your specific needs.

It is important to note that MCH services across Victoria are currently facing a shortage of qualified Maternal and Child Health Nurses. Despite this challenge, we are proud to offer a wide range of consultations to the following groups:

- Infants from birth up to 12 months of age

- All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infants, children, and families

- All children and families with additional needs

In addition to our regular services, we also provide a Drop-In service and the MCH Line 132 229 for additional support during this time. We want to assure you that our dedicated Maternal and Child Health team is here to support you and your family every step of the way.

To schedule a key ages and stages appointment or make changes to an existing one, simply request an MCH Appointment. If you require immediate assistance within the next two working days, please call our team at 9404 8888 between 9am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We understand that breastfeeding and feeding your baby can sometimes present challenges. That's why we offer the opportunity to chat with a Maternal and Child Health Nurse or Lactation Consultant who can provide guidance and support.

In addition to our consultations, we also offer First Time Parent Groups and Sleep and Settling programs facilitated by professionals. These programs are designed to assist parents and provide valuable resources and advice.

For families facing additional challenges impacting parenting, relationships, and well-being, our Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) Service is available. This outreach program provides extra support to families with children from birth to preschool age.

We are committed to engaging with and supporting our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families through our Deadly Boorais and Deadly Families Program. This program actively involves families and their children, providing support and engagement within our Maternal and Child Health service.

As part of the Deadly Boorais Deadly Families program, we offer the Yarning Circle and Drop-In Session, providing a safe and welcoming space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to connect and engage with our services.
