Dorevitch Pathology
About the Business
Welcome to Dorevitch Pathology, a trusted institution located at 235 Rossiter Road, Koo Wee Rup, Australia. As a prominent establishment in the healthcare industry, we offer a range of services to ensure the continuity of your care.
To begin, it is recommended that you visit your General Practitioner to obtain a Pathology Referral. With this referral, you can then conveniently visit any of our Dorevitch Pathology COVID-19 Collection Sites for a Flu and COVID-19 test. We understand the importance of timely and accurate testing, especially during these uncertain times.
One of our notable testing options is Generation 46 non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). This cutting-edge screening method utilizes a simple blood test to examine all 46 chromosomes, including pairs 1-22, X, and Y. By doing so, we can detect chromosomal abnormalities that may impact the future health of your baby. Our specialist genomic testing laboratory, Genomic Diagnostics, is responsible for conducting this advanced testing. For more information on this service, please visit our website.
We are excited to announce that in mid-2023, Dorevitch Pathology will be opening a new central laboratory and collection centre to serve the Geelong and Surf Coast regions. Located conveniently under the Westfield overpass at 23 Yarra St, Geelong, this facility will provide enhanced accessibility and convenience for our valued patients in this area.
At Dorevitch Pathology, we accept all pathology request forms provided by your healthcare provider. Whether your test is for yourself or your child, we are here to assist you. If your form mentions "Fasting," it is essential to follow any special instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Before choosing a location for your test, please ensure you have read and understood any preparation requirements.
Upon completion of your test, be sure to look out for the QR code provided. By scanning this code, you can share your experience with us through a short online survey. We greatly value your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement while recognizing the aspects we are doing right.
In most cases, you will need to return to your healthcare provider to receive your test results. However, rest assured that our dedicated team at Dorevitch Pathology is committed to providing accurate and timely results to support your healthcare journey.
With over 500 locations across Melbourne suburbs and regional Victoria areas, we strive to make our services easily accessible to all. We are proud to serve a diverse range of communities and remain dedicated to delivering exceptional care to each and every patient.

"This is a complete utter disgrace of a facility. The staff are about as polite as Russian interrogation officers on boarder patrol. Your there to serve people who are sick and it's like your attitudes get off on it. Especially Joanna my word that lady needs either a serious reboot or new career."
"Needed a blood test and arrived at the dorevitch pathology at Koo wee rup to 2 very rude workers, I believe one, who was in charger of the centre where pathology is and another lady no idea who she was. We were told to wait outside as we weren’t allowed to wait inside the waiting room/ foyer. It was absolutely freezing. I couldn’t believe it they were saying this is a government space and you can’t come in and have to wait outside If it had of been addressed nicely I’d be ok but the way they spoke was appalling. Last year we could go inside and wait ( peak covid )but now, NO Not allowed. I don’t get it. Anyway there is a respectable way to speak to people. Robyn in the actual pathology room taking the bloods was lovely. Ashame the other two give the place a bad name. All the people waiting were appalled at the way they acted. Switch jobs if your not happy !!!!"
"Relaxed and handy facility. Wish I knew it was there years ago."
