Due to the rising costs associated with running medical centres, including staff wages, entitlements, and medical supplies, it has become increasingly challenging to sustain our services solely through Medicare payments. Therefore, we have made the decision to transition to a mixed billing system from the 1st of July 2023.

Under this new system, certain patients will still be bulk billed during specific hours. Children aged 16 and under, as well as concession card holders and pensioners, will be bulk billed from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and until 12 noon on Saturdays. It is important to note that relevant concession cards must be presented at the time of consultation to ensure eligibility for bulk billing.

We also want to inform our patients that a surcharge may be applied to credit or direct debit card payments. This surcharge, ranging from 0.15% to 0.79% of the transaction amount, is determined by the type of card or issuer/bank. This additional charge is necessary to cover the costs associated with processing card payments.
