"This emergency was a disgrace! This is NOT an emergency department but a glorified GP practice which charges exorbitant fees even when you are privately insured. My elderly mother [who is privately insured] was brought here by ambulance in January after a fall where we thought she had broken both her ankles. I was not allowed to go with her due to Covid restrictions. The medical staff refused to even see my mother until their $315 fee was paid over the phone. After 5 hours, I picked up my mother who was dumped by the door in a wheelchair, looking very forlorn and cold. No nurse to help me with crutches or to help her to my car. She had not been given anything to eat or drink whilst she was there [this was from 5pm to 10.30pm]. The I Med Radiology there is not part of this department and charge FULL FEES for any scans that they issue. And.... after 5pm, there is an additional out of hours fee. With the treatment my mother received and the horrendous bills from I Med Radiology afterwards, I will not use either service again."
"Initial consult occurred within 5mins of arriving. Whole visit was 4 hours from arrival to departing, but it was a Friday night and my injury was minor compared to others. Staff were great. Professional but very caring."
"Today I was sent to the ED by my GP. For the first time ever, I had the best experience with fast test times and a fantastic dr with excellent bedside man er. He took the time to listen to my concerns and spent time explaining everything. Dr John Ding is a legend and they shoukd hire more drs like him. He has turned my horrific experience back in Feb with the worst dr I have ever seen, into a positive experience"
"Not a good place to be in refused medical treatment due to mental health issues even though it was a medical condtion /issue"
