"Arrived at the ED last night around 8pm with my mum who had a serious condition, sat there until 3am, asked the nurses how many patients were in front of us there was still 10 patients! In the 7 hours we were waiting, about 5 people were called up to see the DR, there were very unwell patients falling asleep across the chairs and in their wheelchairs, other patients were looking after each other instead of the nurses or drs, the patients with more serious illnesses appeared to be put at the bottom of the line, I have never seen such poor quality of care, we left at 3am without being seen due to the exhaustion and lack of empathy the staff displayed."
"Avoid at all costs. I was advised by my doctor to go emergency ASAP for suspected DVT a serious condition. Upon registering my self the nurse was really rude and said why would a doctor send you here we don’t do ultrasounds at night but it’s up to you if you want to stay and wait for a doctor. I was dumbfounded when he said that. A nurse who thinks they know more than a doctor ridiculous. I felt like I was not welcome in a public emergency department. Who are they to judge. Discrimination at its finest."
"Avoid here at all costs! I was here about a week ago roughly due to severe pain & etc. ( I wasn't able to function as a human being basically) I was treated poorly by doctors & nurses. They didn't listen to me or my carer about what was going on with me at all, and was very rude towards us even though we were being respectful towards them. They didn't even help me & discharged me within 2 hours, saying there's nothing wrong & that they didn't even have specialists to help someone like me in emergency situations. I suffer from a chronic pain condition and I'm wheelchair bound . DON'T COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY CHRONIC PAIN CONDITIONS!!"
