"Came in about a month ago and wasn't planning to buy anything but found a bargain! It seems I was visiting during a sale period and the floor was busy with multiple customers browsing, trialling shoes and making purchases. While I did have to wait a little, everyone I interacted with was patient and helpful. Sad that there are no Mountfords in my area but I will definitely consider returning! There was a great range of shoes on offer and I had a wonderful in-store experience :)"

"I went to buy a pair of shoes at the Mountford Shoes in Melbourne city. I walked up to the sales assistant and asked if i could try on the other one to the one i had on and lifted/swung my foot up. Thinking she would know which one it was, she said she needed to look at it and gave me filthy look, I asked what i had done wrong to upset her and she said i kicked my foot at her! Then just walked off. There were 2 other ladies in the shop who witnessed this shocking behaviour, they said they were disgusted at the service, I spoke with another assistant and said i was going to buy these shoes but because of the assistants attitude i wouldn't, ... and she couldn't have cared less either. So i walked out. Are you doing that much of a roaring trade Mountfords that you can allow a sale to walk out the door! I own retail shops and that is not how you treat a paying customer. Simply unexceptable and i will never go back. Damn as I loved the shoes !!"
