"Great spot rugged windswept stunning wild beach. Be warned dangerous rips and currents."
"The views were great from the sand dunes, good bench to walk along and also saw a few people fishing. My only problem was the flys, big buggers that liked to bite, they were mostly up at the high tide mark, if you walk down where the tide is at its ok."
"Wonderful views to be enjoyed from Williamson's Beach. The beach is a relatively short walk from the carpark. You can enjoy the howling winds and the thunderous waves any time of the year. A perfect spot for some fish and chips or a drink at sunset. This remote beach is wonderful for walking and putting your toes in the water. As it is not patrolled, only strong swimmers in a group may decide to swim here. As they say in 'The Castle'... how's the serenity?"
"It's an easy walk to the beach from the car park. The return is another thing,..it involves hiking up steep dunes, if you're moderately fit, it will help. It levels out mostly going back to the carpark. It's worth the view of the water, the dumping waves and firm sand though. My 3 teenagers swam in it just fine."
"Great place to watch the massive waves crashing to shore. Wouldn't be the safest place to swim, but we picked up some fish and chips from Wonthaggi and came here to eat and watch the waves and had a great time! If you're planning on walking along the beach, bring big spray for the blow flies!"
