At Have2Dance, we pride ourselves on not only teaching dance but also sharing the love of dance with our students. Our studios in Mulgrave and Glen Waverley offer ample parking and easy access for parents, ensuring a convenient and comfortable experience for everyone involved.

Founded by Melita Sammut in the summer of 2007, Have2Dance has grown from its humble beginnings in Hampton to serving the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With a strong community connection, we create a nurturing environment where families feel welcome and supported.

We follow the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) syllabus for Classical ballet and Jazz examinations. These examinations, held in June or July every year, provide a systematic approach to building strength and artistry in our students. The ATOD syllabus is designed to help students reach their full potential, whether they dance recreationally, professionally, or aspire to become dance teachers. Starting from the age of 5 – 6 years, our examinations ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

In addition to examinations, we also hold a yearly choreographic competition within our school. This gives our students the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent. Moreover, we encourage our students to participate in external competitions throughout Melbourne, allowing them to gain valuable performance experience in a competitive setting.

The highlight of our dance year is the highly anticipated end of year concert, held in November. This event brings together all Have2Dance students for a spectacular performance that showcases their hard work and dedication. It is a celebration of the progress they have made throughout the year and a chance for them to shine on stage.

Our founder, Melita, is renowned for her exceptional teaching skills and passion for dance. She is dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for all her students.
