"I finally made it to Australia, the last remaining continent on my intercontinental travel wish list. I decided to get two cartilage piercings to commemorate the very special event, and I did so -via reservation- at MEZI. Hoda was absolutely amazing! I felt super comfortable/ at ease, she gave me great advice/ tips, and she answered all my burning questions. When next I’m in Sydney, I will definitely go back! Thank you for a stellar experience. ETA: The room in which the piercings were done was clean, Hoda wore gloves the entire time, and my ears were sterilised before the piercing was done. I wanted a conch in one ear and a helix in the other, and I was able to indicate the height/ positioning. A needle was used for both piercings, and my desire to one day wear a loop earring in the conch impacted the angle of the piercing. Things moved at a slow, leisurely pace, and this added to my sense of ease. Hoda was super friendly, and it only made the experience that much better."

"Bought a pair of earrings and the next day went to exchange due to poor colour match. Product was still in original packaging with a receipt. Due to Covid they do not exchange earrings, even if never worn. But they will exchange rings and necklaces. A better understanding of how Covid spreads and how to sanitise all products including earrings, necklaces and rings would help them see that “Covid” is a terrible excuse. They just didn’t want to be accommodating. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone."

"I brought 3 Items from this store in December . Unfortunately 2 of the items have are falling apart within months, I went back to the store with the broken items to have them repaired not a refund as these items are not cheap. The very unprofessional and rude staff member advised me that my bank statement as proof of purchase wasn’t enough as I didn’t have physical copy then I was made to feel like I had “ stolen! the product. The costumer service here is extremely appalling and I wouldn’t shop here again due to terrible customer service and extremely overpriced product . I had no choice but to go a pay elsewhere to get them repaired. What a joke."

"PLEASE DO NOT GET PIERCINGS HERE! my friend and I both got upper lobe piercings done together at Mezi CBD and problems would be an understatement for what has followed. We BOTH have SHATTERED CARTILAGE from gun use even though we relentlessly enquired about the use of a gun that close to cartilage. We were assured by our piercer that they had “new technology” and could use the gun on all parts of the ear. THIS IS FALSE. Our piercings are extremely painful and have permanently damaged and even deformed the appearance of our lower ear cartilage. On top of this the surgical steal they pierce with contains nickel which is very allergenic and has caused allergic reactions in both my piercings. We have BOTH had to see doctors, and get the piercings changed out by PROFESSIONAL piercers who were horrified by the state of our piercings. PLEASE if you’re thinking of getting a piercing here go to an actual professional piercer somewhere like hair-house warehouse as they are professionally trained! This place needs to be shut down before they do further damage to other people."

"I had my front helix jewellery changed here. It was a tiny 4mm or 3 mm stud which cost me $49 and the fee for changing it was $15. They claimed it was surgical steel with coat of gold on it. I got that done in December and it’s February now and I’ve noticed black rust growing around the stud that I have to constantly clean and the worst part is I have to get it professionally removed and replaced. Any tattoo parlour around Sydney would do a better job and have better quality jewellery than them for the same price. Good thing I didn’t get a piercing from them because I can’t imagine that rusty earring in my freshly pierced ears."
