"This is our local and we come here quite often. I have to say that I'm surprised by some of the poor reviews complaining about time issues or staff. Being frequent patrons, we have always found the food to be really delicious, to be quickly served (even in really busy times - but let's be real people, if it's busy lets have a little more patience and kindness, eh?!). My favourite dishes are the corn fritters, the lemon crepe, and the ham and cheese crepe. Always cooked and presented really well - thank you! The wonderful staff at Garcon always make us feel really welcome, chat with us, and always make sure we have everything we need. Special shout-out to Matthew who is always fabulous, has a great sense of humour and who works incredibly hard. This is our local, and I'm always really excited to bring friends here, meet friends here, and introduce new people to Garcon. You are all fantastic, thank you!!"
"First time here on a Wednesday morning. It was almost full but we managed to get a table. After waiting for quite a few time our brunch arrived and everything was realllllly simple! The pancakes were dry and the Shakshuka was too liquidy haha. Coffees were good tho. The waiters kept asking us to get up cause they needed to get something from under the bench!!! There are way better brunch options around!"
"Excellent food and service. The food presentation is beautiful. Dishes are filling without feeling heavy. Staff is friendly and efficient. Tables are cleared quickly making welcoming for the next guests. Great coffee - it's my daily coffee place now. Prices are reasonable for such great quality of food and service. It's also very pet friendly. Some of my favorites are: French toast, crumpets, crepes, pain au chocolate and the Big Sexy."
