About the Business
Welcome to Barefoot Potential - Yoga, Pilates & Movement Studio, located in Cowes, Hollydene Court, 2. As the owner, I am Claire, an Exercise Scientist, Personal Trainer, Pilates and Yoga Trainer. At Barefoot Potential, our mission is to help you feel more connected, present, informed, and ultimately free and capable in your life.
When you join us for a session, it's not just a workout. It's an opportunity to check in with yourself, breathe properly (perhaps for the first time in days), focus your mindset, and train to believe in your body and mind. With over 18 years of experience, including training at some of Melbourne's top studios, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our training sessions.
As I complete my Exercise Science qualifications and move towards a Masters in Exercise Physiology, you can trust that our training is based on the latest research, efficient, and tailored to your individual needs. Having taught thousands of sessions, I have developed a keen eye for understanding bodies and caring about people. I will help you maximize all systems to thrive safely in the long term.
A personal training session at Barefoot Potential may include a combination of fitness training, weight lifting, breath work, yoga, reformer pilates, and mindset training. Our sessions are always designed to help you work towards achieving your personal goals for life.
But our dedication to wellness extends beyond our studio walls. We understand the importance of connection to land, culture, spirituality, ancestry, family, and community for the wellbeing of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Our studio is located on land traditionally owned by the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nations. We recognize and pay respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, their ancestors, and the elders past, present, and future from the different First Nations across this country.
