He was so friendly and eager to help two beginner surfers looking for some guidance and tips. We then went on to have the best surf we had since we began our surf journey a few months ago. "rec'd my kneeboard dec'22 after a detailed run through of what I needed by Ringa, who explained in basic terms and then ordered. After that delt with Keven who also was very helpful and upon picking the kneeboard up gave me a generous trade in on my 6'2" board and deals on other accessories. Only one thing which went wrong, I ordered a rounded square tail, but the shaper, Deno, did a fishtail. I was offered to change it, but did not want to wait any longer for another board. Happy with the fishtail performance, but the tail damaged easily and currently attempting to fix this myself. However, overall would recommend Island Surfboards. Wayne"

"Amazing customer service. I was in the market for a new surfboard and the team here was incredibly helpful. I've only previously bought second hand boards, so I had a lot of questions to ask and they took the time to explain everything I needed to know. Where as it felt like other surf shops were just trying to sell to me, the team here had nothing but time to make sure I made the right choice. I ended up going for a custom shaped board after trying a few demos and it's riding extremely well. Would highly recommend!"
