She has worked extensively in private practice, providing therapy to adults, couples, and children. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, infertility, and assisting recent immigrants to Australia with the challenges of settling into a new country and culture.

Ilana understands the unique needs of each individual and tailors her techniques accordingly. She integrates Mindfulness into her sessions, finding it to be a valuable tool. As an author of a thesis titled "Psychoanalysis and Holocaust: an intersectional approach," Ilana brings a depth of knowledge and understanding to her practice.
