"I tried to get my fitbit watch looked at as the band has broken off the watch and was told by the staff in computers that I have to do my warranty claim online even though I had the tax invoice showing it was purchased from Harvey Norman and was still under warranty. They did not want to help me and just brushed me off and told me to do my own warranty claim . Should just buy all my future purchases online save the trouble of dealing with stores that don't want to help."

"In store 5 out of 5. In terms of follow through from the customer service reps. -100. We had furniture items delivered twice and both times they were damaged or not aligned. Bought a coffee table, the draws were completely wonky. We were told "you received the goods so you've accepted them and any defects". Despicable. Asked for a refund multiple times was told "the issue was minor and they could be replaced". The supplied of furniture told us our issues were "minor" and we "didn't pay that much" so we shouldn't be complaining. Nearly $1000 isn't much? What a terrible process and terrible accepting of poor products."

"Absolutely appalling customer service received over the phone from our online order. Items were specifically picked online 2 days ago as they said they were available, the staff member who called us told us it is too inconvenient for them to order in the products for us and we shouldn't have picked items online that weren't available. Thankfully the person in store was great and made a difference to the service we received in our call. She helped us out and we got all the items we required. She deserves 5 stars. I would recommend calling ahead if you are ordering online as the store may not actually have it in stock."

"Bought few lounges including electric recliners that became a big issue. Luckily we were at home when the sofa had electric issues and started giving burning white smoke. Tried to contact them and after many calls they sent the team, who came to inspect the faulty lounge. Highly incompetent. In the first visit didn’t even turn the lounge on and sent the report to office saying all is OK. Came back the second time when I requested another inspection as I was not comfortable turning the recliner back on again due to smoke and fire issues as I have little kids. They said that no issues again and said no to help any further making me think that I am a liar. Never coming back again to that Harvey Norman . There are many Harvey Norman and they operate all separately like private shops. Do yourself a favour buy from different Harvey Norman."

"Amazing!!! We were really impressed with not only the way the store looks, but the Customer Service there was of a high standard, especially Dana, who went above and beyond to assist us with extra accessories for our mixer. She showed us all the accessories that you can buy for this mixer online and thoroughly explained each of their functions. Throughout the whole time, she served us with a smile, she was very patient and understanding with us as we were not 100% sure what specific extension we wanted to get. We were only planning to buy one of the accessories but through Dana's help we ended up buying two!! Thank you Dana!!! We will definitely be coming back!!"
