"Koala living store boasts an attractive selection of home goods and decor. Despite that, I had an unfortunate experience with its service and product. The rug I purchased emitted a strong chemical odour upon arrival, and when I expressed my worry, the store assured me that the smell would dissipate within a few days. However, it has been six months since the purchase, and the offensive smell still lingers persistently. This is both disappointing and unacceptable. Upon the purchase the store has failed to bring my attention to the back of this rug with a label of chemical treatment. Disturbingly, some of the chemicals used for such treatments are known to be harmful. The store refused to disclose what chemicals were used. Furthermore, Koala Living's refund and return policy is highly restrictive. Upon trying to settle the issue, I discovered that the refund offered by the store is 30% cancellation fee+ acceptance fee or a store credit note. Please see their terms and conditions. This policy raises significant red flags and suggests a lack of confidence in their own products. Equally concerning is the store's refusal to provide any material safety data sheets for their products. This lack of transparency raises valid concerns about the potential health hazards associated with their merchandise safety and in my opinion a potential treat to the public health. Moreover, the persistent chemical odour emitted by the rug and the presence of known harmful substances is deeply unsettling. The matter is now awaiting resolution at VCAT. In light of these alarming findings, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Koala Living to anyone seeking safe quality home goods."

"If I could give zero stars that what I would have picked. Worst customer service ever. Store staff was rude and absolutely dismissive. Just disappointed experience overall. P.S: after receiving a fluffy response to which I’m unable to respond back- but to edit my comment- I walked in to your store to buy, walked out with a poor experience from the sales agent who completely ignored once she heard I’m not sure if the product meets my needs…clearly her attitude changed once she knew there may not be a sale…invest to understand how your clients who walk in get treated."
