"Send a secret shopper in here and you’ll see just how disenchanted and uninspired the lady who works at this store is. I went there today, dragged a hello out of her while she folded one of the 17,000 different colours of flannel’s in stock, which she used as an excuse not to serve me… I approached her and asked “excuse me, I saw a jumper onli-“ and she cut me off “oh yea, there’s heaps of stuff online, not here”… She didn’t even know what I was looking for, I actually saw it on my way out but by then, refused to contribute to her KPIs for the day. She should be grateful she has a job with such a miserable attitude."
"Great customer service, would like to see more of a range of big men's clothing"
"Plenty of decent quality products at really good pricing. A big plus for body inclusivity, not just catering to the S/M/K sizes. It isn't just a plus sizes range, about a quarter of the products in the store were bigger sizes of what could be found in the store which takes away the sinking feeling of needing to go to a plus size section to get a completely different clothing selection. The online options has most clothing available in bigger sizing too. This Lowes had a really lovely and very helpful member of staff who has built up a rapport with my father which is quite sweet. The one downside is that because there's so much product in store, it leaves very little room for people with mobility aids like canes or crutches, and therefore leaves no hope for someone in a wheelchair. But that's a honestly probably just down to the size and shape of the shop. It's not a large site so I can understand managers wanting maximum product available in store where assistance is available rather than pushing the bigger sizes entirely to online only, and reducing what's available in general sizes which risks running out of products. All in all, you'll definitely get your money's worth whether buying tradie high vis gear, casual stuff for around the house, nest casual, or suits, and shoes to match whichever dresscode you're going for. (Personally, I love the current selection of boots that would look good with jeans or could fit just as well with a semi-formal dresscode)"
"Great selection of well-priced no-nonsense men's clothes and shoes, from beach to business to building site - kind of like what target used to be like before it lost the plot - but the staff here give great service. It is surprising how they fit so many different types of clothes into such a small space, so the only issue is space b/w the aisles if you are in a wheelchair, but the staff are so friendly and helpful, if you had any problems, and asked for the help, I am sure they would move things around for you to get to where you wanted to go, or bring things to you."
