About the Business
Welcome to Kingswim Chirnside Park! Located on Maroondah Highway in Australia, our institution is a stand-alone facility designed specifically for swimming. We are conveniently situated in the grounds of Kororoit Creek Primary School, making it easily accessible for families in the area.
At Kingswim, we are proud to have Susan as part of our team. With her extensive experience as a swimmer and as a mother, Susan understands the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Her dedication and passion for teaching shines through in every lesson, as she helps children not only become confident swimmers but also develop important life skills.
Our swimming programs are tailored to suit children of all ages and abilities. From babies as young as 12 weeks old to advanced squad level swimmers, we have classes that cater to every stage of swimming development. Our lessons focus on building water confidence, refining skills, and providing a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants.
We believe in the power of regular practice, which is why we recommend weekly lessons. Consistency is key to progress, and our dedicated instructors are committed to helping each child reach their full potential.
As a token of appreciation, we offer a free start-up kit to all new members. This includes a membership card for easy check-in and a pair of Kingswim branded bathers, ensuring your child is ready to dive into their swimming journey.
One of the unique aspects of Kingswim is our flexibility. We understand that families have busy schedules, which is why we offer lessons anytime throughout the year. You don't have to wait for a new school term to start, as we are always ready to welcome you and your child.
Safety is our top priority, and we require all parents to be present during learn-to-swim lessons. This allows you to witness your child's progress firsthand and ensures a supportive and secure environment for everyone.
Don't just take our word for it, hear what other parents have to say about their experience at Kingswim. From the enriching baby swim sessions to the professionalism of our teachers, our center has received rave reviews for its warm and inviting atmosphere.
As an institution, we also recognize and respect the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to their cultures and elders, honoring their continuing connection to the land and community.
Join us at Kingswim Chirnside Park and embark on a swimming journey that not only teaches essential skills but also fosters confidence, growth, and a love for the water. Contact us today to book your first lesson!

"My little one is so reluctant to get in water, but the professional team here is so great, they are trying to make her feel comfortable and encourage her to gain confidence. Very happy, and thanks for the supervisor who is doing alot."
"Great teachers and staff here at Chirnside Kingswim. They really accommodate to each child's needs to build confident swimmers."
"The establishment appears to extend a warm welcome predominantly to white individuals. If you fall outside of this demographic, it may be prudent to reconsider your choice, as you may face unjust treatment, similar to what we unfortunately experienced. Our personal experience at this establishment has been quite disconcerting. There appeared to be a bias towards white individuals, receiving a level of respect that seemed noticeably absent for others. Over the span of more than a year, during which I frequented this place with my son, we continually faced such dismissive and unapologetic behavior from the staff. The incident that transpired this morning was, however, the breaking point. The staff refused to sell swimming goggles to my son unless he used the word "please", an evidently different protocol than for their other customers. This deep-seated discrepancy in treatment is not only deeply disappointing but also unacceptable. It's crucial to remember that Australia is a multicultural nation that takes pride in its diverse cultural, ethnic, and racial tapestry. Any form of discrimination, whether subtle or glaring, is not representative of the values we hold dear. We celebrate diversity and the unique differences that each of us bring to the table. Hence, encountering such prejudiced behavior in a place that should ideally reflect these principles of equality and respect is distressing. Due to this ongoing discriminatory treatment, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel my son's registration at this establishment. It's a regrettable situation that we had to resort to such measures, but it's a necessary step in ensuring that he grows up in an environment where he's valued and respected for who he is, rather than being judged on his appearance. We sincerely hope that our experience serves as a call for immediate action to address these issues, promoting an atmosphere where everyone, irrespective of their appearance or background, is treated with the same level of dignity and respect that they deserve."
"My grandson is almost 10. Has had 2 weeks a year swimming lessons with Kingswim through his school for 5 years and can't even float. What is it you teach them in these school lessons, because you have taught my grandson nothing. Only got 1 star as couldn't give you none"
"My almost 5 yrs old daughter is loving it. We have been with a few other teachers so far, but Judy is the best! Very thoughtful, patient and encouraging with a gorgeous smile."
