"My son has been attending Flinders for 7 years now. There has been some ups and downs, but over all we are very happy with the school . I moved my son from a local State school where he was bullied and was falling behind in his education . When he came to Flinders he was assessed and found to already be 12 month behind where he should have been. With the care and effort of the teachers , my son is now a happy boy and doing well at school. Im very glad we moved him to Flinders."
"Me and my kids found the school amazing, friendly staff and a great atmosphere, by reading the reviews below, mainly the 1 star reviews it may be more that this is yet another attack on a Christian foundation rather than a real opinion, keep up the good work Flinders !"
"My grade 5 and prep were at this school and I would not recommend it at all. My son attended the sickbay several times and I was not notified, one day he came home with his pants ripped and skin missing from all over his body and back from an apparent fall, I was never told not even by his teacher at the end of day. One time I actually was notified of a sickbay visit saying my son had hurt his hand, they didn’t mention his teacher had stepped on his whole hand and that’s why he had attended. Also wasn’t told by his teacher at the end of the day. My sons teacher always told him there was no time for show and tell so to bring it the next day. So he would bring it the next day to be told there was again, no time for his show and tell. There is a lot of favouritism going on with some of the students also, my son attended one day as Captain Hook for book week, as did another child in the exact same costume who’s mother works at the school, and that child won the whole contest. With both the grade 5 and prep there were multiple instances where they could not attend art or library when they were meant to, so they were told to do free time instead. One of the teachers here is incredible Mr Rolleston the music teacher, both kids adored him and his lessons. For the money this school is asking it’s disgusting that all of this is happening."
"My son was 4 years old when we enrolled him to that “college”. After 6 months since he started, we were asked to leave. All I heard were negative feedbacks regards to behaviour of my son. No learning skills were obtained during this period of time. Put him into an ordinary public school and since then got nothing but positive and grateful feedback from teachers. To sum up: just overpriced child care, which can choose who can stay and who must leave."
"I'm so glad I read all the reviews. I can see the website person who has replied back to each 1 star rating. First he need improve his mental health, his response style showed big bullying and obsessed if the school getting more than 1 star. Save me lot of money and not to enrol children their. I hate bullying schools and saying Christian values also charges lot of $$$."
