"I visited around 5:30pm and the staff there where exhausted, deflated, uninspired... They seemed ready to go home, and bothered by me politely asking for simple assistance at customer service back section finding something and the check out near front, when the self serve robot needed a swipe card and fixed so I could make payment. Understandably it was nearing close and they may have had a long day, or events in their personal life, which I know is so very real, however, customers deserve kind and informative attentiveness up until close (6pm). I barely got a reply, a friendly smile, a sound at all, just body language which showed absolute exhaustion and simple tasks where a hinderance. Im sure at their interview to get their role they had a different demeanour. Not a nice experience, I walked out of there quite taken aback at the quality of that experience as I rarely come to Big W at all. I work directly with customers myself in my own profession, so being on the receiving end of this was not good enough. Thats my feedback for now. Happy to elaborate elsewhere for more details."

"The staffs are very approachable and helpful. The shelves are full of stock. And finally we found our ink for the printers after visiting 5 different Big W. Good shopping experience today! Location is connivence for someone taking bus or driving."

"Went to the Waverley Gardens Store to exchange a jacket to another size but wanted to make sure that the “supervisor” standing behind the desk knew that I was bringing in my new unworn jacket to do an exchange. Explained to him before I went to the racks which was displayed outside the entrance to the store. He was shocking. He just looked at me and did not respond or acknowledge or smile. Had to repeat my question if it was ok and he mumbled a miserable “yup”. It felt very uncomfortable but I needed to see if a smaller size would fit me better. In the end as there was not much choice left in sizes, I kept my original jacket and informed him that we didn’t need an exchange after all. If you are not happy to deal with customers why are you in a customer service role? He definitely needs to be retrained on BASIC customer service and please SMILE!!"

"Great clothes for kids - decent quality and very good prices. The ranges for adults are decent for everyday wear. Very good range of kids toys and often there are sales. Never enough staff around to ask for help and very rare to have anyone at the register so you have to put the shopping through yourself."
