"Henry Mercato Waverley Gardens Visit update on 25/6/2022 After my initial review, I decide to check out this store to see that its standard is maintained. With vegetables prices soaring, and shortage of some due to damaged by heavy rain, I expect this store will have many empty spots where vegetables are displayed. To my surprise, I can see a sea of colourful display of vegetables and fruits outside the store. There are also chest freezers holding several brands and variety of frozen durians and other frozen items. Inside the store, everything is so neatly displayed and labelled. The flowers at the of the store are still arranged so beautifully. Prices of vegetables and eggs really hit the roof, but by comparuson they are cheaper than many other green groceries. The store is a credit to the owners, managers and staff. Keep up the good work. _________________ Visited 1/4/2022 Henry Mercato is the latest supermarket in Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre, next to The Reject Shop. It occupies part of the floor space of the former Target store. It is very bright and huge wheelchair friendly store. It has very wide aisles. There are so many variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats and dried groceries, spices, sauces, snacks, continental small goods, etc. I don't smell roast Chicken though. This supermarket is going to give Woolworths, Aldi, the Chinese grocer and the butcher a really tough time. In any business, complacence is the biggest enemy. It is important to keep the ears to the ground all the time, to check out who is coming to town and takes measure to protect one's market share. Disclaimer.
