Doncaster Primary School
About the Business
Welcome to Doncaster Primary School, a prestigious establishment located at 12 Council Street in Doncaster, Australia. As an esteemed point of interest in the area, we take pride in being a leading primary school that provides quality education to our students.
At Doncaster Primary School, we believe in fostering a sense of unity and respect among our students. Our motto, 'OATH', symbolizes our commitment to standing together with friends, caring for one another, and showing respect. We also emphasize the importance of Australian identity, as the flag reminds us that Australia is our home and we must contribute to making it just and lawful.
One of our key focuses is preparing our students for the future by introducing them to the world of robotics. Through engaging activities and projects, our students develop important skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors.
In addition to robotics, we prioritize digital safety and wellbeing. Our 3/4 ICT Inform and Empower sessions focus on topics such as balancing screen time. We believe in equipping our students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world responsibly.
At Doncaster Primary School, we encourage creativity and innovation through our Science Fair Competition. Our students confidently present their projects, showcasing their understanding and passion for the subject matter. We are grateful to the students and parents who have contributed to these fantastic projects.
We also provide unique opportunities for our students to engage with nature and develop a sense of responsibility. Our students take care of our chickens, ensuring they have enough food and water. The joy they experience in giving each chicken a little hug is palpable.
For international students interested in joining our diverse community, we provide information and support through our International Students program. We welcome individuals from different cultures and beliefs, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
As we embark on our educational journey, we acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We honor our ancestors and elders, both past and present, and commit to loving, respecting, and caring for the land we learn and play on.

"Wonderful well rounded school academics, arts, sports, offers science, French and Mandarin, beautiful landscaped outdoor areas, modern new facilities and buildings attentive friendly supportive staff and educators"
"extremely good school, I miss it so much, all of the teachers are great, especially Mr Johnson- Sophie and Chloe"
"Great school. I would definitely recommend this school. The teachers are really supportive and the kids are nice too."
"Some teachers are very professional but some are just “whatever “, overall, it’s a nice school, you can’t expect a government funded primary school will meets everyone’s expectations, only private school does ."
"This is a very nice school, amazing teachers, very friendly administrators, location is amazing, lots of parking place outside. However the toilets are extremely dirty, no hygiene, no soap, always urine on the floor and my kids avoid using the toilets even if they need it desperately which is bad for their health in either case. There are not many activities provided to the kids either, only regular curriculum, no extra curricular activities."
