"Not what it used to be when my step daughter was at the school in 2009. My son attended for one year before we had to change him due to bullying and lack of communication with the school and teachers. We felt very disconnected from the school, and my son was happy to leave."
"some good teachers"
"Sadly after being at this school for over 8, I have taken my 2 youngest out of the school. Since the school having a change in Principal 6 years ago(if memories serves me correct), the direction and focus on the school has gone down. Which I find very sad, as prior to this, we had one of the greats little schools in our area. This year alone, there have been many families leave the school. The education department unfortunately don't seem to care about how the school teaching and focus has moved from the great community in which it once was. The children are not properly prepared for high school, and I found that when issues where brought to the attention of the teachers, it fell on deaf ears. There are a lot of wonderful teachers at this school, but they have to bite their tongues for fear of their jobs, so it nots the happiest working environment for them. The principal can not be seen as objective when it comes to one of the teachers, as she is his wife. For a school that had many welfare/wellbeing programs for the children, sadly most of them no longer exist, as the school no longer has a welfare/wellbeing teacher. They unfortunately lost the best vice principals, who had her finger on the pulse of the whole school and the greater school community. The new vice principal, unfortunately just doesn't seem to be able to even do assembly, let alone speak to any parents with in the school. Communication from the school this past couple of years has been very poor, and has been brought up numerous times, but again this to fell on deaf ears."
