"Usually when I walk into Kookai, it feels like a daunting and judgemental experience, especially as the culture that has been fostered over the years has been quite negative. I normally feel very body conscious, and feel like I don't fit in when I walk through the doors of Kookai, as I am not the model type of shopper for which Kookai caters for. However after a very long time I decided to enter the Kookai Southland Store, feeling anxious about my treatment by staff, but I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted and assisted by a worker named Neha. She was so gentle, kind and made me feel so comfortable, being so patient with every question I asked. I did not feel judged on how I looked, contrary to my past experiences which left a stain in my mind about Kookai. It was also extremely comforting that after a very long time I could see a brand embrace diversity in their team, I hope Kookai recognises the impact they can create by keeping wonderful people like Neha."

"Friday 2nd September 2022 (3-4pm). I was not greeted upon entry nor was I acknowledged at any point during my time instore. The half-witted staff spent the entire time standing in the fitting rooms chit chatting about their extra curricular activities. Management should address and deter this cringeworthy behaviour. There were also 2 other customers on the floor browsing. Even when I was 1.5 metres away they didn't stop conversing about their lame lives. Ignoring customers is very boring! Yawn! Their attitude turned me off from purchasing. One star is far too generous but google won't allow zero"
"The girls at Kookai Southland went above and beyond for me today! I was shopping for my 21st and very unsure of what I wanted to wear. Taylor was incredible, picking pieces that I would never chose myself, taking into account my sizes, height and hair and skin colour, everything she picked looked amazing on. She deserve a promotion she is so good at her job and made me feel gorgeous the whole time. She spent the time looking after me and helped me pick out my birthday outfit. Beth, Savannah and Georgia were also super helpful with pricing and advise on items. They made me feel so looked after, and feel so much better than when I went in. These girls are amazing and it will definitely be my preferred store I’ll be back!"
