At National Music School, our talented staff are committed to discovering and nurturing talent. Our gallery section on our webpage showcases photos from our concerts, which provide a platform for our students to showcase their skills on the big stage in front of their loved ones.
We offer vocal and instrumental lessons that cover a wide range of genres. Our students receive comprehensive training in contemporary, classical, and jazz music. Whether you prefer to perform solo or with a backing track, our lessons cater to your individual preferences.
In addition to our lessons, we also have a state-of-the-art recording studio that is open to all NMS students. Here, students can digitally produce, mix, and master their singing voices and other musical performances. The studio is equipped to create covers and original songs, complete with backup voices and harmonies.
National Music School hosts three annual performances throughout the academic year. One of the highlights is the Music and Singing Eisteddfod, which takes place in the autumn months. Both children and adults are encouraged to perform and compete in separate sections, creating a vibrant and supportive musical community.
For over 25 years, our logo has represented our commitment to excellence in music education. We teach using a five-star system known as "The Essential Approach," which embraces the art of musicality. This method prepares students with essential techniques and skills, including learning various contemporary, classical, and jazz pieces of music.
In addition to this, we offer specialized teaching systems for guitar and bass guitar. Our award-winning methods, known as the "Essential Guitar Approach" and "The Essential Bass Guitar," respectively, provide comprehensive training for aspiring guitarists and bassists.
At National Music School, we also emphasize the importance of theory and musicianship. We offer training in theory and musicianship, as well as songwriting, to help our students develop the necessary skills to become intermediate musicians.
