About the Business
Welcome to AMIGA Montessori Point Cook, located at 19 Boardwalk Boulevard, in the beautiful suburb of Point Cook, Australia. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to providing a unique and enriching educational experience for children.
At AMIGA Montessori Point Cook, we embrace the Montessori method of teaching, which was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1907. Driven by scientific observations of children's natural learning tendencies and their eagerness to learn in prepared environments, her educational methods have stood the test of time.
Central to our approach is the concept of the "prepared environment." Dr. Montessori believed that children have an innate ability to teach themselves, and thus, she designed an environment in which they can freely choose from a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. This empowers children to take charge of their own learning, fostering a sense of independence and self-motivation.
We firmly believe that children learn best when they are able to drive their own learning experience. By following their own interests and passions, at their own pace, their imagination can truly flourish. Our aim is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment that allows children to explore their curiosities and develop a lifelong love for learning.
Located in the vibrant community of Point Cook, our institution is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for children to thrive. Our highly trained and dedicated staff are passionate about guiding and supporting each child on their unique educational journey.
At AMIGA Montessori Point Cook, we understand that every child is an individual with their own strengths, talents, and learning styles. Through our personalized approach, we strive to create an environment that celebrates diversity and fosters a sense of belonging.
We invite you to join us on this exciting educational adventure at AMIGA Montessori Point Cook. Together, let's empower your child to reach their full potential and embrace a lifelong love for learning. Contact us today to learn more about our programs and enrollment options.

"Excellent service! Very reliable and committed educators. My daughter started last year, was not eating and talking much but with the help of the educators, she is flourishing. She is talking in full sentences and trying different food. Management is very supportive of new families and children and make you feel like home. Will 100% recommend the service to everyone. I feel very safe leaving my child in their care. Highly recommended"
"Bad on feedback. 1. We constantly kept on giving feedback on drop offs and pick ups. 2. Staff roster keeps on changing. They dont inform 3. At times I have heard parents complaining that XX food was given even if that was not supposed to be given due to allergies. 4. They hire casual staff a lot to lower down the costs. Children face the brunt as the staff keeps on rotating. Very bad for the toddlers who have a habit of seeing the same staff. 5. Montessori is just in the name. Upon querying the staff you will just hear theoretical things from them. They dont know practical knowhow. The staff is not practically trained it is all bookish. 6. Business model: Low cost staff, High revenues/charges from parents. It is win win for Amiga. 7. Close to zero excursions. 8. Poor on communications to parents on what's happening, what;s planned, 9. All of their excursions and incursions are TBC: To be concluded. Nothing is concluded throughout the year. 10. High on charges. They charge 136 for a 9 hour session and 151 for a 11 hour session. Even their subsidies dont work properly. On questioning them, they will always ask you to reach out to centerlink. They will take zero accountability. 11. Center manager is the king and overrides the Amiga's policies. They say everything is at the center manager's discretion. Then I am not sure why do they have policies in place. (Kind of Indian Jugaad I would say). 12. Lacks diversity: You will mostly see Indian students at max few other asian students. 13. Food is unhealthy. They dont have transparent kitchen that you can look at it and practice transparency on food. The food menu is not followed on the excuse that they didnt get groceries etc etc. 14. They dont have any app. You will have to login always to see your child's progress or photos etc. 15. They dont inform on educator's leaves and planned changes in staff for your room. 16. Center manager takes her call in deciding whom to de register and re enroll saving the spot and saving charges for the family and whom to give just holiday discounts. This is pure discrimination at the discretion of center manager. 17. For them everything is business, They keep on changing rooms for kiddos in the middle of the year just for their own profits. There are many more. These are just few."
