Welcome to Narrative Therapy Connections Sydney, an independent practice located in Crows Nest, Australia. Our institution offers counseling and supervision services both online and in person, provided by the experienced and qualified Loretta Pederson.

Loretta is a registered clinical member and accredited supervisor with the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Association of Australia (PACFA), ensuring that she meets all annual requirements for clinical supervision and professional development. With her expertise, she is able to address a wide range of issues through counseling, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress, and workplace concerns.

The counseling process varies for each individual, but typically consists of 6-12 sessions, making it a relatively short-term process. However, for those seeking assistance with more deeply rooted issues such as the effects of abuse, longer term counseling is available to help address the significant impact on their life or sense of identity.

In addition to counseling, we also offer supervision services for practitioners working in the field of counseling. Supervision can take place over Skype or Zoom, providing flexibility and convenience. Loretta Pederson meets all requirements to supervise members of PACFA and ACA, ensuring that practitioners receive the support they need in their professional development.

Loretta Pederson, our esteemed counselor and clinical supervisor, holds a Master of Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Melbourne and Dulwich Centre, Adelaide. She is also a part of the teaching faculty for the Dulwich Centre and an honorary clinical fellow at the University of Melbourne School of Social Work. Loretta has extensive experience in counseling and supervision through Narrative Therapy Connections, and has volunteered for Twenty10/Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service.
