In 2014, footage was recovered, revealing a mysterious wispy figure, wine bottles and glasses flying off the shelves and onto the bar, and lights flickering inexplicably. Cold chills occasionally fill the air, adding to the ghostly ambiance of this iconic establishment.

"A lovely pub nestled within a tight streeted area between two major roads, its a comfortable atmosphere with pool tables, a restraunt & outdoor seating. The atmosphere is rustic & the food scrumptious with some of the friendliest service i've ever met. Would reccomend the walk away from the hustle & bustle of newtown to the carlisle & setting up next to the simulated fireplaces during a rainy day."
