Jindi Woraback Children's Centre

Welcome to Jindi Woraback Children's Centre, a unique child care and kindergarten centre located in St Albans, Australia. We are dedicated to providing holistic and personalized day care and education services to families in the City of Brimbank.

The name "Jindi Woraback" holds a special meaning, as it was given to us by the Wurundjeri people, who are part of the Kulin Nation. We deeply respect and acknowledge their culture and heritage.

Our philosophy revolves around our children, families, educators, and the community we serve. Our goal is to offer high-quality and affordable care to all residents, students, and workers in the City of Brimbank.

At Jindi Woraback Children's Centre, we combine the principles of The National Early Years Learning Framework with Te Whariki, a curriculum from New Zealand that we adopted in 2005. This unique approach allows us to focus on the individual skills and interests of each child, promoting positive play and self-evaluation.

We do not believe in rote learning or ability checklists for entry. Instead, we encourage the development of every child, regardless of their background or abilities. Our program is designed to support children with additional needs, including those with English as a second language, developmental delays, or conditions such as autism.

Connecting with the environment and community is an integral part of our approach. Your child will have the opportunity to play in natural surroundings, including our rock garden, veggie garden, and Bali hut.

To ensure the safety and well-being of your child, we provide sunscreen and nutritious meals. Our experienced and caring staff are well-versed in anaphylaxis and other allergens.

We are proud to have been awarded the Australian Family Early Childhood Service of the Year for VIC/TAS in 2011, 2013, and 2015. We were also honored with the Australian Family Early Childhood National Service of the Year in 2015.

At Jindi Woraback Children's Centre, we value face-to-face interactions with families and children. Rather than assigning people to a waiting list over the phone or email, we prefer to meet in person and give you a tour of our facilities.
