"I like to share my terrible experience with other potential customers. I bought a comprehensive car insurance Nov 2022. Initial contact wasn't too bad. I even called them 28/6/2023 7:45pm to get a quote for a new policy. I waited for 30 min after pressing the options on my phone & the staff responded but said I was directed to the wrong person & said he would transfer me to the right department. But I was in fact transferred to a department which was already closed because it's after 8pm. Out of frustration, I called today to cancel my existing policy. Guess what, I waited 2.5 hours (from 4:27pm) to get a response. I don't think Comminsure is coping so it's the right choice not to have anything to do with CBA from now on."

"STAY AWAY. I have been trying to get a claim resolved for 6 months. it took them 2 months to respond, then 2 months to get told that they have rejected my claim. My AC unit flooded into the ceiling space, as the overflow backed up. they are trying to say it flooded due to rust! I have sent photo evidence that there is not rust anywhere on the overflow tray. Completely incompetent - they have not even called the AC contractor who attended site. We have a ceiling partially collapsed, and 6 months later all they can say is "dispute it with AFCA. Utterly pathetic service."

"Rubbish insurer - I was misinformed TWICE by staff advising me that I was not insured for a home claim because they did not understand the insurance policy and PDS, furthermore the second staff I spoke to didn't even bother to read my claim details carefully. He denied my claim even though I was told it would be approved. Both incompetent staff almost lost me thousand/s of dollars."

"I have been with Comminsure for decades, 5 stars. It's no longer Comminsure, it has been taken by another giant, I think is Hollard but it is still OK. They now have a lot of exclusions on accidental damages so maybe time to shop around. 1 star Still smooth processing with claims which is helpful."

"Have tried calling twice - the first time I used the call back option and never got a call bank. The second time I called after 48 minutes the call just disconnected. Such a waste of my time, cancelling my insurance after all the negative reviews now that they have been acquired and after the appalling customer service experience I have received."
