We have always wondered if such a life is possible in today's world, and after years of searching, we found the answer. For us, the Source of Love is a real human being named Yahshua the Messiah, who understands the struggles we face. Through Him, we have fulfilled our dreams and built communities and tribes where love is at the center of our lives.
In our early days, all we wanted was to be together, so we transformed a small, humble building into The Yellow Deli. Using discarded materials, we created a warm and inviting space that became "a place to belong." The rustic decor reflects the beauty and charm of our lives, which have been transformed by love.
The Common Ground Cafe, which you may have seen in Katoomba over the past five years, embodies the same life and spirit that we first experienced in the original Yellow Deli. It is a reflection of the love and hospitality that you will also find in our homes. As a network of communities around the world, we have returned to our "original name and pattern" of The Yellow Deli to signify our unity as a spiritual nation of twelve tribes.
Our cafe is built with the same heart and dedication to service as our earliest beginnings. From the friendly staff to the detailed yet rustic craftsmanship of the interior, you will feel the warmth and care that characterizes our life together. "An old school cafe that has won my heart with its charming decorations and delicious menu. The Reuben Sandwich was the star dish for me, with its perfectly toasted bread, juicy corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and melted Swiss cheese creating a flavor explosion in my mouth. The Granola Bowl was another winner, a refreshing and filling breakfast option with crunchy granola, fresh banana slices, and frozen blueberries. And the Fruit Waffles were a delightful treat with fluffy waffles topped with fresh fruits and just the right amount of maple syrup. The coffee was exceptional and provided the perfect complement to my meal. I highly recommend this cafe and cannot wait to visit again!"
