"Absolutely amazing service from end to end! I speak as someone that is known to assess and rate services with full sincerity and often quite robustly via Google reviews. I truly believe feedback and acknowledgment is so important but alas, people seldom seem to take the time to give positive feedback. Anyhow, I recently got my license and a car at age 45 (better late than never right)! Unfortunately, like many, I purchased a car that has some ishooos (like most of us). I was really worried about being ripped off, especially being someone that knows nothing about cars and having heard a myriad of horror stories from others. I’d moved back to Melbourne down from Gippsland and had no idea where to get help so sent a few emails to local mechanics. Louise called me on Monday and put my mind at ease in relation to what I could expect and within seconds I could feel she was sincere and wasn’t about price gouging. I advised everyone else I spoke to that I ‘might call back’ but knew instinctively that I wouldn’t as I could tell quite quickly that they lacked sincerity. Louise however broke the trust barrier and understood that I needed to feel safe in my car and also really wanted to find a team that I could take ‘Mary’/my car to moving forward without feeling like I was going to be charged for things that I perhaps didn’t need to outlay. After our initial conversation, I bought my car in the same day and they managed to look at it pretty soon after. Mind you, poor Louise had to calm me down after I drove there as by that point I had convinced myself that my car would either konk out while driving or do something equally dangerous. Based on my collective experiences with them I can say with hand on heart that Louise and Frank are an amazing duo! I had a chat with them via phone this afternoon regarding the issues at hand and rather than money grab, they actually gave me the cheapest possible option that actually meant no additional cost in relation to their services (I was in shock if truth be told lol). I cannot imagine this to be common given the horror stories I have heard from people who have seen other mechanics far and wide. In fact, I have already mentioned them to other friends and they were in shock at the level of service I received and super competitive price point. I can now finally say that I have a team that I know ‘has my back’ in relation to anything mechanical and will absolutely never consider going anywhere else, they have a very loyal customer in me. Anyhow, as someone that spent 3.5 months in hospital 25 years ago after a very serious car crash (I was a passenger, not the driver just to be clear lol) I really felt it important to provide this feedback as I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have someone in their corner who is not only trustworthy when it comes to fixing their car, but most importantly, taking care of their safety.
