Welcome to Fifth Avenue Child Care and Kindergarten, a community-based not-for-profit organization located at 5 Fifth Avenue, Dandenong, Australia. Since July 16th, 1986, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality child care and early education services to families in our community.

As a not-for-profit organization, our main focus is on the well-being and development of each child in our care. This means that all fees paid go directly back into enhancing our programs and facilities, ensuring that your child receives the best possible education and care.

Our service is managed on a day-to-day basis by our experienced Director, who is supported by a dedicated management committee elected annually at our Annual General Meeting. This ensures that our operations are constantly monitored and improved to meet the changing needs of our families.

At Fifth Avenue Child Care and Kindergarten, our mission is to work in partnership with families and the wider community to further develop children's learning and growth. Our team of early childhood educators uses their extensive training and knowledge of early childhood development to design flexible, individually tailored programs that foster a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

We understand the importance of preparing children for the transition to school, and our kindergarten year is specifically designed to provide a rich and stimulating experience. Through a range of carefully planned activities and opportunities, we not only prepare your child academically but also help them develop important social and emotional skills.

Nutrition is a priority for us, and our on-premises cook prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals for our children every day. These meals are assessed by the Healthy Eating guidelines to ensure that your child receives the necessary nutrients for their growth and development.

We are proud to uphold the broad aims and objectives of the National Quality Standards (NQS), which aim to provide stimulating and positive experiences for children in a safe and nurturing environment. Our commitment to quality care and education is reflected in the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by our friendly staff.

Please note that upon enrollment, each family is required to pay a $50 levy to secure their child's spot. This amount will be deducted from your fees if you choose to enroll your child at our service. However, please be aware that this levy is non-refundable if you change your mind.
