Cafe Saligna

"Shocking cafe and I will not be back. Took my daughter for a drive and wanted just a pot of tea and a milkshake. Staff couldn't even get it right. Ordered an Earl Grey, the tea I have drunk for 20 years and an English Breakfast arrived. When I pointed out the error, the waitress, who spoke like some sort of whispering weirdo incapable of conversing with the public, attempted to suggest she had read the order back to me and I'd agreed to it. I've never had an English Breakfast but she seemed to believe I'd ordered one. Absolutely rude and awful. Please don't waste your time people. Best nursery in the area next door, but the cafe stinks. Based on the current review number, it seems many others agree. Do better."

"We planned our day to come here. We reviewed their business hours stating that they close at 3 and planned accordingly. We thus planned to go for a forest walk and then lunch afterwards. We arrived for lunch at 1 and when we wanted to order at 1:15, we were told that the kitchen was closed. Considering it was still lunch time, we were shocked. We were told we could order desert. Anyway, 15 min later, we decided to rather just grab a coffee and muffin… only to be told that we should take it take away because they have decided to close early because they weren’t busy enough to stay open??? The manager was at the counter at the time and I explained to him that I made my arrangements to come here before closing time and I would appreciate it if they could serve us. He then raised his voice to me stating that he is closing because there haven’t been many customers and I cannot expect him to pay 6 staff members when it is so quiet. Actually, I can, because he is advertising that he is open until 3. Waiters are working and expecting a shift until 3. Upon discussion with a waiter, it was revealed that when he sends them home early, they do not get paid for these lost hours!!! What??? That’s not fair!!!! When I walked in the door at 1, someone could have told me that they were closing. I watched the staff turn at least 3 customers away… it’s no wonder that they are not busy. No one mentioned anything until I was at the counter. Rude management! He needs to learn how to run a business!"

"Nice little cafe in Cumberland state forest. Come for a bush walk and have a nice coffee and tea after. They have some loose leaf teas available."

"Nice atmosphere. The pumpkin salad was good but expensive. My kid ordered fish and chips, it was super small fish only and $14 ( the picture shows big but it was a close up) my 6 year old wasn't full. . Doesn't justify the price. Service was ok. I had to bring the cutlery myself after paying, grabbed the drinks myself from the fridge too."
