Welcome to Little Grasshoppers Early Learning Centre - Eramosa! Located in Somerville, at 70 Eramosa Road West, our centre is a point of interest and a place where children can learn and grow in a nurturing environment.

Surrounded by a beautiful old heritage oak and spotted gum tree, our centre offers a green and leafy outlook from the second story, as well as a shaded natural area on the lower level. The open design and mindfully sourced natural timber furniture allow for maximum airflow and natural light, creating a bright and welcoming space for children to explore.

At Little Grasshoppers, we are committed to sustainability. Our centre features 6.5kw solar panels, LED low energy light fittings, and rainwater systems for toilets and irrigation. With a 6-star energy rating, we strive to minimize our environmental impact and provide a sustainable learning environment for children.

We understand that choosing the right childcare centre is a big decision for families. That's why our dedicated team of educators and staff are here to support you every step of the way. We take a hands-on approach and are available at all times to help parents with the transition into childcare and throughout your journey with us.

Our facility is professionally designed with great care and thought for the needs of babies and young children. We have separate rooms and modern outdoor play areas that are specifically designed for the age, abilities, and maturity of the children. We believe that children learn through play, and our programs are based on the Early Years Learning Framework Guidelines. We work in partnership with families and educators to develop learning programs that are responsive to children's ideas, interests, strengths, and abilities.

In addition, we integrate kindergarten into our long daycare environment to offer your child sessions that prepare them for school. We work closely with the school your child will attend to ensure a smooth transition and familiarize your child's teacher with their needs and interests.

The safety and wellbeing of children are our top priorities. Our centre is equipped with an electronically secured door with individual pin codes for secure entry. Only authorized persons are allowed to collect children unless otherwise arranged. We also conduct risk assessments on our planned activities to ensure everyone's safety at all times.
